Our website is an e-commerce site where you can purchase many of our products, paying for them with PayPal or credit card .

For large quantities of goods (for example, to purchase a whole wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano , or half a wheel, or to purchase our products as gifts for customers and employees, or to sell them in a shop, or to use them for a catering business), visit the Customize your purchase page to discover the offers we reserve for shops, restaurants, companies, purchasing groups, hotels, B&Bs, etc.
Terms of sale
The prices of the products indicated on the site include VAT.
Packaging
Our cheeses (Parmigiano Reggiano, Tosone, Caciotta, Caciocavallo) are vacuum-packed and packaged.
The Parmesan cream is in a glass jar, the butter is packaged in classic paper, the mozzarella is in a plastic bag with its preserving liquid, and the ricotta and grated Parmesan are in tubs.
For more delicate products (ricotta, mozzarella, butter, caciotta, etc.), it is mandatory to purchase polystyrene packaging along with the product to ensure it arrives intact and in good condition. Opening a package and discovering that the mozzarella's liquid has spilled everywhere or the caciotta has shattered during transport isn't a pleasant surprise for you, but it's also very disappointing for us!
For a few products (yogurt, desserts, stracchino and scamorza cuor di ricotta) it is mandatory to purchase the <b>package with ice to allow you to enjoy them safely.
When you add one or more products that require the purchase of a standard or ice-cold thermal container to your cart, the system will automatically add it.
DELIVERIES AND SHIPPING
Deliveries are made by GLS couriers in Italy and abroad.
RATES
Prices vary according to the total weight of the products purchased:
▪ From 0 up to 4,999 kg = 8 euros
▪ From 5 up to 9,999 kg = 9 euros
▪ From 10 up to 14,999 kg = 11.40 euros
▪ From 15 to 19,999 kg = 12 euros
▪ From 20 to 29,999 kg = 13.80 euros
▪ From 30 up to 49,999 kg = 19 euros
▪ From 50 up to 99,999 kg = 23 euros
▪ From 100 kg onwards = 31.50 euros
TRACEABILITY
Once your package has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email.
The email will contain a link through which you can track your shipment.
Guarantees
Damaged product: If the product arrives broken or tampered with, or the package is delivered open or visibly damaged, do not accept delivery and contact us immediately (tel. 0525552003 – cell. 3393211172, email: ilbattisterocaseificio@gmail.com): we will replace the product.
Right of withdrawal: In accordance with the law, you can exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 working days from the date of receipt of the goods, using one of the following methods:
- by fax to 0525552003, or by email to: ilbattisterocaseificio@gmail.com
- by registered mail addressed to Caseificio Sociale il Battistero, Via Provinciale 94, 43040 Serravalle Ceno, Varano de' Melegari, Parma
If you return the products intact and complete with their original packaging, we will credit your refund as soon as possible via bank transfer or non-transferable check.
Only the shipping costs of the package for returning the goods will be at your expense.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of goods made to measure or clearly personalized or which, by their nature, cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
